Assistant Property Manager

We are looking for an efficient assistant property manager to help with the daily operations of properties and handle tenant relations. The assistant property manager’s responsibilities include
day to day operational responsibilities involving residents, coordinating maintenance work and preparing performance reports.

In this role you will:

  • Assist property managers in supervising off-site staff
  • Work with property managers to resolve property management issues
  • Receive work order requests and coordinate with maintenance technician or vendor as appropriate
  • Contracting and following-up on repairs and maintenance work
  • Create a customer service focused culture for residents, vendors, and employees
  • Obtain vendor bids for projects and coordinate repairs with vendors and tenants
  • Respond to escalated and emergency maintenance issues in a timely, courteous manner

Your skills will include:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (email, phone, in-person)
  • Well organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize

What we are looking for:

  • High School diploma
  • 1 year as a leasing consultant and/or property manager
  • Open to candidates with relevant experience in the real estate industry
  • Technical property know-how (advantageous)
